Tony Michael Evans

Mr. Tony Michael Evans, age 64, of Commerce, GA died Sunday, July 29, 2012 at Duke University Hospital. Mr. Evans was born in Commerce, GA to Bonnie Tolbert Evans of Commerce and the late JB Evans. He was a member of Berea Baptist Church and was retired Vice President of Athens First Bank.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Evans is survived by his wife, Vicki Thomas Evans; daughter, Emily Brown (Tracey); brother Ted Evans (Mary); nephew, David Evans (Tabitha); and great-nephew Parker Evans all of Commerce.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM, Wednesday, August 1 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Atkins officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday night from 5 to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Berea Baptist Church, c/o Tracy Gravitt, 143 Bolton Gordon Road, Commerce, GA 30530 or American Lung Association, 2452 Spring Rd SE, Smyrna, GA 30080.
