Ellery Douglas Johnson,

Ellery Douglas Johnson, 18, of Cumming, GA died on July 27, 2012. Born in Cumming, GA he was the son of Andrea Culbert Johnson of Cumming, GA and Gregory (Jane Laughridge) Johnson of Cumming, GA. His grandparents, Robert and Betty Lou Johnson and Douglas Wright also predeceased him.

Ellery was a 2012 graduate of North Forsyth High School, where he played basketball, enjoyed water sports on Lake Lanier and had been accepted to attend Georgia Southern University.

In addition to his parents, Ellery is survived by his brother, Alexander Robert Johnson of Cumming, GA;"granbobbye", Bobbye Wright of Cumming, GA; stepsister, Andrea Nicole Laughridge of Cumming, GA; stepbrother, James Ryan Laughridge of Isle of Palms, SC; uncles, Scott (Pam) Johnson of Lindenhurst, IL and Joseph (Nan) Culbert of Orange Beach, AL; aunt, Sherry Woodward of Bloomingdale, IL; great-aunt, Betty (Leland) Chambers of Kennesaw, GA; cousins, Kelly and Katie Woodward and Brittany Johnson; and a loving extended family.

Private family services will be held.
