Thomas Dale Murphy

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Thomas Dale Murphy, age 74, of Milledgeville, formerly of Pendergrass, who passed away on Friday, July 27, 2012. Mr. Murphy was born in Jackson County, a son to the late Thomas Woodrow Murphy and the late Irene Cooper Murphy. Mr. Murphy worked in sales at Slack Auto Parts and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of the St. Michael's Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include his daughter, Michelle Matarrese, Alpharetta; son, John Paul Murphy, Monroe; sisters, Carol Holzhalb, Woodie Oglesby and brother, William Murphy all of Pendergrass; grandchildren, Jade Murphy, and Alli, Melissa, and Nicole Matarrese.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at 1:30pm in the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA.
