Jimmy L. Jones

Jimmy L. Jones, 79, of Dawsonville passed away Tuesday July 24, 2012 at Peachtree Christian Hospice following an extended illness.

Born May 28, 1933 to the late Irvie and Lula Jones, he had lived in Dawsonville for the past 28 years. Mr. Jones retired as a truck driver from Yellow Freight System in Marietta after 38 years of service. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and avid outdoorsman.

Surviving are his wife of 27 years, Beckey Jones, Dawsonville; children, Kenneth and Debbie Jones, Connie and Mike Riley, Christina Warner; grandchildren, Kyle, Cody, Emily, Sean, Dylan, Ashlyn, Makailyn, Andrew; great-grandchild, Jones; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Memorial Services will be held Sunday, July 29, 2010 at 2 o'clock, at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Danny Baker, Rev. David Clark, and Kenneth Jones will officiate.
