Jimmy Ray Gaddis

Jimmy Ray Gaddis, a beloved Daddy & Papa, died at 64 on Saturday July 21, 2012. After a courageous seven-month battle with melanoma cancer, Jimmy passed away peacefully at NE Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, GA. Son of Cordelia and John Smith, Jimmy was born on October 28, 1947 in Chestnut Mountain, GA. Jimmy will forever be remembered by his devoted family, his only daughter and her husband, Michelle and Edward McDevitt, two treasured grandchildren, Jasmine and Gavin, along with countless other friends and family who were blessed to know him. Jimmy was passionate about his family, life and the ocean. He was quite a loving Daddy and Papa and will be dearly missed. In remembrance, his ashes will be scattered over the ocean.
