Phillip Dean Artman

Phillip Dean Artman, 59, died Friday, July 20, 2012. After a courageous 6 month battle with pancreatic cancer, Dean passed away peacefully at his home in Gainesville, GA.


Dean was born on February 7, 1953 in Lebanon, IN, to John and Alice Artman.


He was the beloved husband of Debra (Irby) Artman for 40 years. Dean will forever be remembered by his devoted family; Wife Debra, parents John and Alice Artman, 4 beloved children and their spouses Chris and Samantha Artman, Nathan and Michelle Artman, Aron and Alicia Artman, and Casey Artman, 5 treasured grandchildren, two brothers, Bill and Gary Artman, along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know him. Dean loved life and his family. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather and will be dearly missed.



A time of visitation for remembrance will be held on July 25th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Memorial Park South Funeral Home in Flowery Branch.
