Mr. Willoughby was born July 23, 1950 in Athens, Georgia to the late Herbert and Alma Willoughby. He was a longtime (15 years) employee of Makita USA, Inc. and was a member of Set Free Church in Dahlonega. Herman was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Bedonnia Willoughby Alexander.

The most important thing in his life was his faith and sharing that with others from all walks of life. He was an encourager, saw the good in everyone and lifted them up no matter who they were. He loved his family with all his heart and was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be sorely missed.
