Marshall Young Wakefield

Marshall Young Wakefield, 52, of Dawsonville passed away Wednesday July 11, 2012.

Marshall was born April 4, 1960 in Atlanta, Georgia. A graduate of Southwest Dekalb High School, he attended Southern Poly Technical Institute. His business career included architecture and home remodeling. Mr. Wakefield was preceded in death by his mother, Lena Darnell Wakefield.

Surviving are his father, Richard O. Wakefield, Alpharetta; brothers and sisters in law, Larry and Rebecca Wakefield, Jackson, GA, Lamar and Patti Wakefield, Suwanee; three nephews and a niece also survive.

At his request funeral services will be private.
