Eddie Jerry Seigler

Eddie Jerry Seigler, Jr., age 45 of Dacula, GA died Sunday, July 8, 2012 following a battle with cancer.

Mr. Seigler has been cremated and a Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 2:00 PM at St. Mary & St. Martha of Bethany Episcopal Church in Buford. Father Tim Watts will officiate. In lieu of flowers the Family request contributions be made to St. Mary & St. Martha of Bethany Episcopal Church, Building Fund.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Wendy Seigler, Dacula. Children, Alexandria Seigler and Matthew Seigler. Parents, Eddie and Verna Seigler, Aiken, SC. Brother and Sister In-law, Jason and Peggy Seigler, North Augusta, SC. Nephews, William and Jacob Seigler. Several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Jerry was a native of Aiken, SC and had lived in metro Atlanta for the past 12 years. He graduated from the University of South Carolina Aiken, Dec. 1988 with a degree in Political Science. He continued his education at the University of South Carolina receiving a Masters degree in Public Administration in May 1991. Jerry worked for the Federal Government for 20 years, most of those spent at the General Accountability Office in Atlanta, GA and Washington, DC. He enjoyed kayaking, playing guitar and spending time with his family. He was a member St. Mary & St. Martha of Bethany Episcopal Church where he served on the Vestry.
