J.C. Lee

Mr. J.C. Lee, age 84, of Dahlonega, GA, died Monday, July 9, 2012, at his home following an extended illness.

Mr. Lee was a Hall County native who had lived in Lumpkin County for many years. He was retired from Lockheed Aircraft Corporation and was of the Pentecostal faith.

J.C. was the son of the late Claude Lee and Maude Wigley Lee and was also preceded in death by a brother, Ernest Lee; and a sister, Blonnie Gaye Evans.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Lois Lee; sons and daughter-in-law, Jerry Lee, Lavonia, GA, Gary Lee, Dahlonega, GA, and Greg and Lydia Lee, Dahlonega, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Dwight Griffin, Dahlonega, GA.; brothers, Lewis Lee, Murrayville, GA, and Larry B. Lee, Gainesville, GA. 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and a number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Lee are scheduled for 11 AM Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega.

Rev. Carroll Pruitt will officiate.

Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Hall County.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega on Tuesday from 3 PM until 9 PM.
