Loretta McLaurin

Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announcing the death of Mrs. Loretta McLaurin, age 92 of Cleveland. Mrs. McLaurin passed away Friday, July 06, 2012.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 pm, Sunday, July 8, 212 from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Michael Wilkes officiating. Interment will follow in Gateway Memory Park.

Mrs. McLaurin was born on July 29, 1919 in Cookesville, Tennessee to the late William (W.D.) Thomas and Susan Thomas. She retired from Texaco Oil where she was employed from some 25 years as a Credit Processor, She had lived in Georgia for several years following her retirement and was a member of the Hiawassee Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. McLaurin is preceded in death by her husbands, Merle Gordon Hunter and James Sidney McLaurin.

Survivors include her sons, Bill Hunter, Clermont; Roy Hunter, Cookesville, Tennessee and Don McLaurin, New Zealand. Mrs. McLaurin is also survived by her sister, Gadys Dalton of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and 2 grandsons.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 5 to 7 pm
