Margaret Ann Brown

Margaret Ann Brown, age 69, of Dawsonville, GA, passed away Monday, July 2, 2012 following a period of declining health.

Margaret was born November 14, 1942 in Smyrna, GA to the late Sterling and Clara Brown. She lived in Dawson County for the past 35 years, having moved from Hall County. Most recently she had a shop in Dahlonega called Mountain Memories. She was retired from Mansfield Oil Company as a district manager. Margaret was a member of the Lanier Singles Club, loved the beach, taking cruises, dancing, and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Robert Fraser and Scott Fraser; and her sister, Mary Brown.

Margaret is survived by her son, Danny Fraser, of Dawsonville; son and daughter-in-law, David and Debbie Fraser, along with grandsons, David Jr. and Colby Fraser, of Buna, Texas.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM Thursday, July 5, 2012, at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega.

Rev. Radford Brownlee will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Etowah Baptist Church Cemetery in Lumpkin County.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 from 5 PM until 9 PM.
