Lucille Harriette Kaucher, age 84, of Suwanee, passed away Saturday, June 30, 2012.
Lucille was brought up in the Clason Point area of the Bronx, NY, where she met her husband Richard at the age of 15. Lucille and Richard celebrated their 60th anniversary on May 31, 2012. Lucille and Richard are members of the Lord of Life Lutheran Church on McGinnis Ferry Road in Alpharetta. Her faith guided her throughout her life especially during her own health struggles. Lucille was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in 2003 and fought this cancer and other complications for many years while continuing to live a full life. Lucille will be remembered as a devoted, loving wife, mother and friend to many. She was a woman with an insatiable desire to help others.
Survivors include her loving husband, Richard E. Kaucher; children, Barbara Kaucher, Charles Kaucher; grandchildren, Elisabeth and Caroline Kaucher and other loving relatives and friends.
Memorial Services will be held Friday, at 6:00 p.m. at The Lord of Life Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA.
