Lynda B. Muir

Lynda B. Muir, 69, of Gainesville, GA passed peacefully in her sleep, at her home in Woodland Hills, CA early Wednesday morning, June 20th. Lynda was the widow of the late James W. Muir. Lynda was a Registered Nurse and MDS Coordinator at New Horizons West Nursing Facility from 1988 until she retired in 2007. She was active in the community, including work promoting access to health care services for all.




She is survived by her 3 sons: Kevin and wife Caroline of Woodland Hills, CA; Scott and wife Amanda of Denver, CO; James, wife Katie and their son John of Oakland, CA; her 3 brothers: Thomas O'Dwyer and wife Barbara of Douglasville, GA; John O'Dwyer and wife Sandy of Syracuse, NY; Terry O'Dwyer of Berkeley, CA.




A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 30, 2012 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until the service hour, and a graveside placement of her ashes at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens in Cumming, GA at 4:30pm.
