Phillip Payne "Pete" Gaddis

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Phillip Payne "Pete" Gaddis, age 54, of Jefferson, who passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2012. Mr. Gaddis was born in Winder, GA, a son to the late Carl Edward Gaddis and the late Mary Alice Payne Gaddis Norris. Mr. Gaddis worked for Porter Insulation as an installer and was a member of the Academy Baptist Church. His brother, Rusty Gaddis, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Tonya Bullock Gaddis, Jefferson, daughter, Ashley Marie Gaddis and son, Phillip Alvin (Allison) Gaddis, both of Hayesville, NC, sister, Patricia Gaddis Pulliam, Royston.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, June 24, 2012 at 4pm in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Rev. Eric Shelton officiating. The visitation will be held from 3-4pm on Sunday, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
