Rudolph Jessie Wood

Rudolph Jessie Wood, age 73 of Cumming, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2012. He loved gardening, tractors, his antique 1955 Ford car and his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mearl Wood; brother and sister-in-law, Howard and Dot Wood.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Shirley Wood of Cumming; daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda Pack of Cumming, Vickie and Tim O'Bryant of Ball Ground, Connie and Jeff Hanna of Cumming; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Ed Burgess; brothers and sister-in-law, Paul and Brenda Wood, Ben Wood, Aubrey Wood; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Linda and Jimmy Hansard; grandchildren, Nick and Dawne Frix of Jasper, Ashley and Michael Garmon of Cumming, Haley Frix of Cumming, Kayla and John Nelson of Gainesville, Justin Worley and Danielle Lieber of Cumming; great grandchildren, Isaiah, Elijah, Niki, Brooklyn, Kaelyn, Payton, Mackenzie, Abby, Bailey, Gavin and Aiden; several special nieces and other relatives also survive.


Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 21st at 2:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bud Sutton, Rev. Clyde Boling and Rev. Bill Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Thursday from 9:00 am until hour of service.
