Ezra Lee Garner

Ezra Lee Garner, age 76 of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at his residence.

Born in White County on March 25, 193, he was a son of the late Ernest and Lessie Dalton Garner. Mr. Garner was employed by Liberty National Life Insurance Company as an insurance agent for 30 years. He was a member of New Bridge Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening.



In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Bettie Mixon Garner; son, Stacy Todd Garner; brother, Vernon Garner and sister, LouElla Barrett.



Survivors include son and daughter-in-law Danny and Carla Dean Garner of Alto; son, Steve Garner of Cleveland; brother Jerry Garner of Cleveland; sisters Allene Stovall of Gainesville, Katie Pitts of Mt. Airy and Barbara Palmer of Cleveland; two grandchildren Christopher Garner and Casey Garner.



Funeral services are 11:00 am Thursday, June 21, 2012, at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home with the Rev. Darren Palmer and the Rev. Phillip Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens.
