Brittany Nicole Jones

Brittany Nicole Jones, age 20, of Dahlonega, GA, died Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, GA following a brief illness.

Brittany was a native and lifelong resident of Lumpkin County and was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by grandparents, Dewayne Jones and Johnny Ray; and great-grandfather, Cleve Ray.

Brittany is survived by her daughter, Aubrey Nicole Brown; mother and step-father, Tammy and Scott Davis; father, Jason Ray; fiancé, Justin Brown; brother, Jermiah Allen; sisters, Lillian Joan Davis and Emma Ray Gilstrap & Diana Ray; grandparents, Rebeccah Jones, Diana Mayo, J.W. and Joan Davis; great-grandparents, Morene and Ray Gene Anderson; uncles and aunts, Kenneth Jones, Timmy Jones, Michael Davis, Connie Jones, Susan Rogers, Ginger Allen, and Joanie Sullens, all of Dahlonega, GA. Numerous other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Brittany are scheduled for 3 PM Saturday, June 9, 2012, at the Hightower Baptist Church in Lumpkin County.

Rev. Terry Fields and Rev. Bobby Pierce will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Jones Family Cemetery in Lumpkin County.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega, GA on Thursday from 7 PM until 9 PM, all day on Friday, and again on Saturday until the time of service.

Banister Funeral Home of Dahlonega is in charge of the arrangements.
