Richard "J.R." Martin

Richard "J.R." Martin, age 72 of Lula, passed away on Monday, June 4, 2012 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.


Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, June 8, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Timber Ridge Baptist Church with interment to follow in Whitehall Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Martin will lie in state at the church from 1:30 pm til 2:00 pm. Reverend Alvin Burns, Reverend Billy Poole, Reverend Cecil Morris, Reverend Dwayne Ryals and Reverend Greg Poole will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 7, 2012 from 2
