Hazel Dell Johnson Hill

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Hazel Dell Johnson Hill, age 73, of Hoschton, GA, who passed away on June 4, 2012.

Mrs. Hill was born in McKeesport, PA, a daughter to the late Chester L. and Marie Schmeltz Johnson. Mrs. Hill was a member West Jackson Lions Club and a member of Northeast Church in Braselton, GA. Mrs. Hill was an avid bowler and was a member of the Indiana Women's Bowling Association. Mrs. Hill was a member of the Indiana Area 600 Club, and she was the Director of Volunteers at St. Andrews Presbyterian Home in Indiana, Pennsylvania.

Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by her son, Larry Lane Hill, and brothers, Chester C. Johnson and Alex Johnson.

Memorial services will be Friday, June 8, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Russell Harbin officiating. The family will receive friends Friday June 8, 2012 from 10-11AM before the service.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Lane Hill, Hoschton, GA, Daughters, Cathy Sleppy, Fairfax, VA, Debbie Hill, Jefferson, GA, Son, David (Heidi) Hill, Braselton, GA, Grandchildren, Shawn (Gretchen), Michael (Lili), Jessica (David), Bryson and Brianna, Great Grandchildren, Matthew and Sierra.
