Eva Hardy Toney

Mrs. Eva Hardy Toney, age 95, of Macon, GA died Saturday, June 2, 2012. Mrs. Toney was born in Banks County, GA to the late Miles Leonard and Bessie Bennett Hardy. She was a member of Webbs Creek Baptist Church and Bible Memory Association in Cleveland, GA for many years. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Toney was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Wilson Toney; son, Robert Leonard Toney, Sr.; and son-in-law, Emmett M. Walker, Sr.

Mrs. Toney is survived by her daughters, Bobbie Toney Walker of Musella, GA and Mary Lee Toney Farmer and her husband George of Dalton, GA; son, C. Fred Toney, Sr. and his wife Eleanor of Danville, CA; two brothers, Albert L. Hardy and Charles A. Hardy; nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM, Thursday, June 7 at Webbs Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Stacy Phillips, Rev. Ron Hinson and Rev. Wade Lott officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday night from 6 to 8 PM.
