Funeral services for Kay Rowland, age 69, of Clarkesville will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, June 8, 2012 from the Bethlehem Baptist Church. Rev. Tommy Stowe and Dr. Bob Horner will officiate with interment to follow the service in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Rowland died Friday, June 1, 2012 at Habersham Medical Center.

Born May 5, 1943 in Mutual, Oklahoma, Mrs. Rowland was the daughter of the late Cale and Ruth Myers Maulsby. Mrs. Rowland was employed in the medical field; most recently by the practice of Dr. F. Stuart Sanders where she was a medical transcriptionist. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Rowland is preceded in death by brothers George Maulsby and Cary Maulsby.

Survivors include husband Frank Rowland of Clarkesville, daughters and sons in law Jennifer and Mike List of Lake Worth, Florida and Sarah and Ken Stampe of Colorado Springs, Colorado, son and daughter in law Randall and Gabriela Rowland, brother Merlyn Maulsby and grandchildren McGregor William Rowland, Zachary List, C. J. List, and Kayla Stampe.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, June 8, 2012 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM.
