Barbara Helen Barron Wood

Funeral services for Barbara Helen Barron Wood, age 80, of Austell and formerly of the Batesville Community will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, June 3, 2012 from the Providence Baptist Church. Dr. Don Drawdy will officiate with interment to follow the service in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Wood died June 1, 2012 in Austell, Georgia.

Born February 3, 1932 in Clarkesville, Georgia Mrs. Wood was the daughter of the late Joe and Connie Allmon Barron. Mrs. Wood was a homemaker and a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

Survivors include daughter Connie Powell of Atlanta, daughter and son in law Cathy and Jim Sanders of Marietta, and son Kenneth Wood of Marietta, grandchildren Sandy Cole, Justin Dalrymple, Christie Liszewski, and Cory Wood, as well as great grandchildren Winston Powell, Skyler Liszewski, Jacob Anglin, Ashley Wood, Cayla Wood, and Cameron Wood.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, June 2, 2012 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
