Dorothy Lee Sullivan Vickery

Mrs. Dorothy Lee Sullivan Vickery, age 85 of Commerce died Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at her residence. Mrs. Vickery was born in Athens to the late, J.W. and Mae Crawford Sullivan. Mrs. Vickery was a retired secretary from Dr. Vickery's office and a member of the First Baptist Church of Commerce. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Vickery was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edwin Vickery.

Mrs. Vickery is survived by her son, Chuck Vickery of Carnesville; daughters, Lynn Owensby and Elaine Gary both of Commerce; six grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, June 2 at 2:00 PM from the First Baptist Church of Commerce with Dr. Carlton Allen, Dr. Jim Waller, and Rev. Duane Eller officiating with the interment following at Jackson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday night from 6-8 PM.
