John Lawrence Botkins, III

John Lawrence Botkins, III, 30, of Dawsonville, GA passed away Monday, May 28, 2012. John lived in the Dawsonville area for the past 20 years where he loved to play golf, fish, and express his artistic desires. He also loved to spend quality time with his daughters and his dogs.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Herbert "Jiggs" and Mary Gasser Foster; grandfathers, John L. Botkins, Sr. and John L. Carter.

He is survived by his parents, John L. Botkins, Jr. of Lexington, KY, Terry and Bert Lawson of Dawsonville, GA.; daughters, Alexia Grace and Kaylee Elizabeth Botkins of Sugar Hill, GA.; sisters, Kimberly and John Maloney of Dawsonville, GA. Carrie Lawson of Jersey City, NJ.; grandmother, Margie Carter of Lexington, KY., and numerous other relatives.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 1, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Redeemer Church, Cumming, GA. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 31, 2012 from 6:00
