James "Moe" R. Baker

James "Moe" R. Baker, age 58 of Cumming, passed away on Monday, May 28, 2012 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a brief illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, May 31, 2012 at 7:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Reverend Chris Ellis will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 31, 2012 from 2 -7 pm at the funeral home, prior to the service.


Mr. Baker was born August 9, 1953 in Gainesville, Georgia to Robbie Baker and Elizabeth Pirkle Baker. He was employed at Ron's Drivelines and was of the Baptist Faith. Moe was preceded in death by his father, Robbie Baker and one sister, Joyce Baker.


Mr. Baker is survived by his son, Josh Baker of Cleveland, his mother, Elizabeth of Cumming, his brothers, Gus Baker of Dawsonville and Wayne Baker of Gainesville and his sister, Ann Hamrick of Cumming.
