Robert Lee Armantrout

Robert Lee Armantrout, 64, of Gainesville passed away Friday May 25 2012 at Athens Regional Medical Center following a sudden illness.

Mr. Armantrout was born August 27, 1947 in Muskegon, MI he lived the majority of his life in North Georgia and called it his home. He served in the United States Air Force and was a self employed stone mason. He was of the Lutheran faith and is preceded in death by his mother Rosemary Somero Armantrout of MI, and sister Sharon Eden Catron of TX.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Robert & Penny Armantrout of Gainesville, daughter Kristy Armantrout Ramsey of Alto, granddaughter Brittany Armantrout of Gainesville, grandson Collin Ramsey of Alto, father Ronald Armantrout of MI, sister and brother-in-law Sondra & John Henry of MI, sister Joyce Terpstra of MI, nieces Jennifer Eden Courtney Hubbard, Jessica Terpstra, Jamie Terpstra, and Jillian Terpstra all from MI, nephews Jason Edan USAF of FL, Justin Terpstra US Army of PA, brother-in-law Jack Catron of TX.
