Ned Gladston Berryman

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Ned Gladston Berryman, age 77, of Jefferson, who passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2012.

Mr. Berryman was born in Jackson County, GA, a son to the late D.S. and Jeannette Benton Berryman. Mr. Berryman was in the Grocery Business and was a member of the Ebenezer Methodist Church. Mr. Berryman's wife, Runnelle Sorrells Berryman, stepdaughter, Rita Diane Sofet, and brother, Doc Berryman, all preceded him in death.

Survivors include his son, Greg Berryman, Jefferson, Stepdaughter, Sheryl (Wayne) Curtis, Monroe, sisters, Eleanor Maxine Cash, Buford, Carol Dean Stowe, Buford, Catherine (Booley) Phillips, Jefferson, Polly Jane Henderson, Gainesville, Betty Lane Nash, Bogart, Emily Alice Hardiman, Hull, brother, Robert Stevie Berryman, Watkinsville, grandchildren, Rita Lynn Rapperport, Wayne Curtis Jr., Chressa Curtis Fadden, 1 great Grandchild.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home. The burial will follow in the Sorrells Springs Church Cemetery in Monroe, GA with Mr. Berryman's nephews honored as pallbearers. The visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 6-9pm at the funeral home.
