Stephen Paul Reibsome

Mr. Stephen Paul Reibsome, age 54, of Toccoa, passed away Friday, May 25, 2012, at Emory University Hospital.

Born September 12, 1957 in Muncy, PA, he was a son of Mary Jane Middlesworth Reibsome and the late William Arthur Reibsome.

He was serving at Martin Baptist Church as Interim Minister of Music. Stephen was a loving man who enjoyed music, reading and the outdoors. He was an ordained Minister of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church. He ministered in the following cities, Red Lion, PA, Hillard, FL, Fort Myers, FL, Edmonton Alberta, Canada, Abbotsford British Columbia, Canada, Simpson University, Redding, CA, and Toccoa Falls College.

Family members include his mother, Mary Jane Middlesworth Reibsome of PA; his wife of 33 years, Kathryn Harney Reibsome of the home; daughters and a son-in-law, Erin Kaye Reibsome Warkentin and spouse Tim, and Katelyn Denise Reibsome; son, Jonathan William Reibsome; grandchildren, Elijah, Noah, and Olivia Warkentin; sisters, Debbie Artley, Gail Yost, and Phyllis Spencer; his mother-in-law, Reba Harney; sister-in-law, Karen and her husband Bill Berkin, and sister-in-law, Kay Morgan; nephews, Chris Earley, Les and Philip Morgan and a niece, Jessica Hare who were all by his side singing him to Jesus as he passed into the presence of his Lord.

Mr. Reibsome's wishes were to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, May 28, 2012 at the Grace Chapel at Toccoa Falls College with the Rev. David Edgar, Mr. Tim Warkentin, Rev. Steve Hartman, Rev. Butch Taylor, Mr. Kevin Taylor and Rev. Rick Sessoms officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Grace Chapel following the service on Monday.
