H. Dean Hallman

H. Dean Hallman, 67, of Dawsonville, GA passed away Thursday May 24, 2012 at his residence following a sudden illness.

Born April 27, 1945 in South Carolina, he had lived in Dawson County for the past 20 years. Mr. Hallman was a general contractor specializing in residential construction. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, horses, 4 wheeling and golf. He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Martin.

Surviving are his daughters, Tammie Lanford, Lexington, SC, Deana Sanderson, Lexington, SC; grandsons, Martin Lanford, Riley Sanderson, Cody Sanderson; father, Marquis Martin, Spartanburg, SC; brothers, Dennis Martin, Columbia, SC, Darron martin, Santee, SC.

Graveside services will be held Sunday May 27, 2012 at 2 o'clock at Dawsonville Memorial Gardens. Rev. Eric Johnson will officiate.
