Cora Lee Anderson

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Cora Lee Anderson, age 94, of Maysville, Georgia, who passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at her residence following a period of declining health.

Mrs. Anderson was born in Maysville, Georgia, a daughter of the late Delone Dickson and Woodie Brown Marlowe. Mrs. Anderson was a homemaker and a member of Center Grove Baptist Church.

Mrs. Anderson's parents, husband, Marvin Anderson, daughter, Jimmie Kent, sons, Jerry Anderson, Roy Anderson and Carl W. Anderson, sister, Kate M. Ingram, brothers, Lynn "Chig" Marlow and Dee Marlow, all preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be Sunday May 27, 2012 at 3PM at Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Donald Voyles and Rev. Frank Sailors officiating. Interment will be at Center Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday May 26, 2012 from 6-8 P.M. at Evans Funeral Home.

Survivors include her Sons, Ray Anderson, Joel (Shirley) Anderson, all of Maysville, Ga. Son in law, Marvin Kent, Maysville, Ga., Grandchildren, Mark Kent, Jim Kent, Robin Anderson Sykes, Blake Anderson, Troy Anderson, Joel Anderson, Stacey Anderson Thomas, and 14 Great Grandchildren.
