Louise Ruby Marlow Westmoreland

Louise Ruby Marlow Westmoreland, age 76, of Lula, GA died Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at The Oaks at Scenic View. Mrs. Westmoreland was born in Banks County, GA to the late Dave and Zadie Shubert Marlow. She was a member of Mt Carmel Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Mrs. Westmoreland graduated from the Class of 1955 in Maysville, GA. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Westmoreland was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby R. Westmoreland.


Mrs. Westmoreland is survived by her daughter, Pamela W. Craven of Maysville; sons, Stanley Westmoreland of Lula and Steve Westmoreland of Maysville; sisters, Lena Griswell of Cornelia and Diane Wills of Jefferson; brothers, Coy Marlow of Maysville and Johnny Marlow of MN; grandchildren, Amanda V. Thornton, Erin Beth Westmoreland, Brian Westmoreland, Mandy S. Sullens and Jill Slaton; great-grandchildren, Emma Grace Thornton and Aubree Westmoreland.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Friday, May 25 at Mt Carmel Baptist Church with Rev. James Duncan officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday night from 5 to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Family Life Center, 2405 Hwy 51 South, Lula, GA 30554.
