Donald Eugene Landers

Donald Eugene Landers, went to be with his heavenly Father, Monday, May 21, 2012 at 74 years old.

He was born in Aragon, Georgia, but lived in the Atlanta area for most of his life. He was employed through Allied Workers Local 48 for over 35 years and served in the Army National Guard. He is preceded in death by his father, James Benjamin Landers.

Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Mary Frances Landers; daughters Mary Susan (Quinn) Kirkus, Amy Marie (Blair) Blinkhorn; grandchildren, Carter Barnes Blinkhorn, Madison Gray Blinkhorn; mother, Annie Mae Landers; brother, Gary Landers both of Cumming; sisters, Patricia McGraw of Stockbridge, Joyce Beveridge of Newborn, Sandra Harris of Sharpsburg; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.

He was a wonderful father devoted to his family and served the Lord with gladness.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 24, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at River of Life Church of God with Pastor Jason Bailey officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5 to 9 p.m.

Flowers will be accepted, but donations may be made to River of Life Church of God, 610 Canton Highway, Cumming , Ga. 30040.
