Raymond Hoyt 'Bear' Standridge

Raymond Hoyt 'Bear' Standridge,age 38, of Gillsville, passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2012 following a sudden illness.

Mr. Standridge was born in Commerce, Georgia on February 27, 1974. He was preceded in death by his father, Freddy Ray Standridge, first wife, Sandy Standridge, maternal grandfather, Hoyt Parson, paternal
grandparents, Ben and Mamie Standridge.
Mr. Standridge was a member of Silver Shoals Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Cindy Standridge; his mother, Carolyn Standridge Fattig; step-father, Steve Fattig, Sr.; sons Kyle
Standridge, Freddie Standridge, and Neal Standridge; step-daughter Alex Waters; step-son, Jordan Waters; brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Michelle Standridge; brother, Chad
Standridge; grandparents, Ruth Parson; one nephew, Bryson Standridge, all of Gillsville, GA; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Buford and Bessie Brock, Toccoa, GA.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Thursday, May 24, 2012, from Silver Shoals Baptist Church with Rev. Perry Smith and Allen
Grier officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 22, 2012, and any time on Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at the residence of: Carolyn and Steve Fattig, 258 Hickory Flat Road, Gillsville, GA 30543.
