Bobby Gillespie

Mr. Bobby Gillespie age 72 of Gainesville, Ga passed away on Thursday May 17, 2012 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an sudden illness.


Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday May 20, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday 3:00-5:00 p.m. until 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Reverend Scott Wilson will officiate.


Mr. Gillespie was born on August 30, 1939 to the late Ulysses Gillespie and Ruth Smith Gillespie. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Gillespie was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Stanley Gillespie, and Jimmy Gillespie.


Mr. Gillespie is survived by his spouse, Nancy Ann Roberts Gillespie of Gainesville, daughters, Angie McDougal of Commerce, Bobbie Ann Gillespie of Gainesville, Misty Gillespie Grizzle of Gainesville, Katrina Gillespie of Gainesville, sons, Timmy Gillespie of Gainesville, Jeff Gillespie of Gainesville, Sammy Gillespie of Gainesville, Jason Gillespie of Gainesville, Ray Gillespie of Gainesville, Terry Gillespie of Gainesville, and brother, Steve Gillespie of Gainesville.
