Vince Booker

Mr. Vince Booker, 64 of Flowery Branch (Chestnut Mountain Community) died Sunday May 13, 2012 at his residence.

A lifelong resident of Hall County, Mr. Booker was the son of the late Vincent L. and Lyra Telford Booker. Graduate of the University of Georgia, Mr. Booker was CEO of Country Charm Eggs, Inc. and a member of the Chestnut Mountain Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Sarah Booker, Flowery Branch; children, Brent Booker, Flowery Branch; Emma Bailey, Dacula; Meg Steward, Hoschton and Carl Simmons, Gainesville; grandchildren, Andrew Booker, Tanner Booker, Madison Booker, all of Flowery Branch, Bennett Bailey and Booker Bailey, both of Dacula; brother, Tom Booker, Braselton.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday May 15, 2012 at the Chestnut Mountain Presbyterian Church. The Rev. John Batusic will officiate. Interment will follow in the Chestnut Mountain Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday May 15, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to Eagle Ranch, P.O. Box 7200, Chestnut Mountain, Georgia 30502.
