William Herman "Bill" Collins

Mr. William Herman "Bill" Collins, age 80, passed away Friday, May 11, 2012 at his home.
Born February 10, 1932 in Stephens County, he was a son of the late Fred Lee and Mattie Alexander Collins.
He was of the Holiness faith and was retired from Patterson Pump. Mr. Collins was also a former employee of WABCO. He was a member of the Toccoa Masonic Lodge and Atlanta Yaarub
Shrine Club and was also a pilot.
Family members include his wife, Shirley Brown Collins; daughter and son-in-law, Lavona and Brian Bridges; son and daughter-in-law, Ken and Angela Wheeler; grandsons, Ty Wheeler, Isaac Bridges, Bryce, Brent, Blake, and Logan Alliston; granddaughters, Kate Wheeler and Sarah Bridges; brother, Harold Collins; mother-in-law, Inez Brown; sister-in-law, Kathy Brown; sister-in-law and husband, Buffy and Joe Kelly; nephews, Kole and Wesley Kelley. Several other nieces and nephews also survive. Extended family, Ruby Pederson and Nick Pederson.
He was preceded in death by his son, Devin Wheeler; first wife, Helen Taylor Collins, siblings, Roy Collins, B Collins, Jack Collins, Harry Collins, Agnes Walker, Nellie Harrison, Della Pulliam, Jean Addison, Lida Meeks, Sue Williams; father-in-law, Ralph Brown.
Funeral Services will be held at four o'clock Sunday, May 13, 2012 at the Whitlock Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Andy Childs, Rev. Don Scott, and Rev. Jerry Stowe, officiating.
Interment will follow at the Stephens Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 10-12 and 6-8 Saturday, May 12, 2012.
