William Franklin Maxwell

William Frank Maxwell, age 65 of Lula, passed away Friday, May 11, 2012, at his residence.
Born in Floyd County, GA on June 15, 1946, he was a son of the late Jessie and Katherine Liard Maxwell.

Mr. Maxwell was retired from Atlanta Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Union and a member of Living Missions United Methodist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Maxwell and sister, Shelba Wilson.

Surviving are wife of 25 years, Louise Jackson Maxwell of Lula; sons, Keith Maxwell of Alabama and Sean Maxwell of Florida; step daughters, Sandra Pinion, Patty Wysong and fiancée, Billy Ervin all of Lula and Kristy Delaney and husband, Joe of Maysville; brother and sister-in-law, Marvin & Sue Maxwell of Cedar Bluff, AL; sister-in-law, JoAnn Maxwell of Lindale, GA; grandchildren, Amber & Ashley Wysong and Lexi & Tyler Delaney.


Funeral services are 4:00 pm Monday, May 14, 2012, at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Rev. John Umberhant and Rev. Lanier Tatum officiating.

Interment will follow in Living Mission United Methodist Church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 pm on Saturday and also from 6-8 pm on Sunday.
