Laura Allison Bates

Mrs. Laura Allison Bates, age 87, of Doraville Ga., passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2012.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Doraville for the majority of her life and was a member of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Bates was the last of sixteen children.

She was survived by her son, Dewayne Bates of
Doraville,grandchildren, Lisa Anglin and husband David of Braselton Ga., Michelle Bearden and husband Shannon of Ringgold Ga., great grandchildren, Natalie Dorsch, Trevor Anglin,Kelly Anglin,Kathryn Anglin,niece Deborah Walker of Colorado.

Graveside services will be held Thursday at 2:00 P.M. May 10, 2012 at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. to 12 Noon on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Lawson Funeral Home, 35 First Street, Hoschton, Ga. 30548,
