Marie C. Dodd

Marie C. Dodd, age 72 and lifelong resident of Forsyth County, passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2012. She was a member of Pine Crest Baptist Church. Marie spent most of her life as a homemaker, but she created the position of hostess at McDonalds. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and loved her Church family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elbert and Sallie Collins; brother, Junior Collins.

Survivors include her husband of 55years, Willie Dodd of Cumming; son and daughter-in-law, Phillip and Maria Dodd of Cumming; daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Don Harber of Cumming; granddaughter, Alexis Harber of Cumming; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Shelby Jean and Arthur Anderson of Cumming, Martha Dodd of Cumming, Herbert and Evelyn Dodd of Cumming; several nieces, nephews, cousins and special cousins that were like sisters also survive.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 10th at 11:00 am at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Craig Richard, Rev. Ricky Waters, Rev. Ronnie Waters, Rev. Carrel Pruitt officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Wednesday from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm and Thursday from 9:00 am until hour of service.
