Roger Cox

Roger Cox, age 60 of Cumming, passed away peacefully in his home on Sunday, May 6, 2012.

Roger was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. He served in the National Guard for six years, loved fishing and loved his farm. He was a member of the Forsyth County Farm Bureau Farmers Association and a 4-H sponsor for 30 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Austin and Ellene Cox.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Paul McBrayer of Cumming; son Austin James Cox of Woodstock; grandchildren, Camden Charles McBrayer and Lauren Ellene McBrayer; and a number of friends also survive.


Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 9th at 4:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bud Sutton, Rev. Terry Cowart, Rev. Ruddy Tribble and Rev. Ricky Byrd officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Tuesday from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Wednesday from 1:00 pm until hour of service.
