Christopher Lee Palmer

Christopher Lee Palmer, age 50, of Toccoa, passed away, Saturday, May 5, 2012 at his home.

Born September 11, 1961 in Milledgeville, GA, he was a son of the late Donald and Nancy Lee Palmer.

He was of the Baptist Faith and had worked for American Heritage.

Family members include a son, Shade Palmer; his former wife and friend, Lorraine Wood Palmer; daughters and sons-in-law, Shelly and Shannon Chiffin, and Leeann and Paul Edwards; sons and daughters-in-law, Greg and Kimberly Ballenger and Robert and Nancy Burrell; nieces, Chelsey and Desarea Palmer; and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his step-mother, Carolyn Palmer; and brothers, Eric and Nicky Palmer.

Graveside services will be held at two o'clock Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at the Toccoa City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 12 noon until 1:30pm Wednesday.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully ask that donations be made to help with funeral expenses.
