Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Joyce Evans, age 81, of Hoschton, Ga. who passed away on Monday, May 7, 2012, at her residence.

Mrs. Evans was born in Jackson County, Ga., a daughter to the late J.T. Jr. and Beulah Lutrell Waddell Holland. Mrs. Evans was a homemaker and a member of Hoschton United Methodist Church. Mrs. Evans was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lonie Evans and a brother, Jimmy Holland.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday May 9, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Luis Ortiz officiating. Interment will follow at Hoschton City Cemetery in Hoschton, Ga. The family will receive friends on Tuesday May 8, 2012 from 6-8 at Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, Ga.

Survivors include her children, Larry H. Evans, Jefferson, Ga. Michael E. Evans, Mansfield, Ga. Patricia A. Evans, Hoschton, Ga. Ralph A. Evans, Braselton, Ga. Teresa L. McBrayer, Jefferson, Ga. Marilyn L. Sanford, Jacksonville, Fla. Carolyn O. Wall, Danielsville, Ga. and Sharon M. Evans, Jacksonville, Fla., two sisters, Billie Camp, Tucker, Ga. and Bobbie Wade, Stone Mountain, Ga., 14 Grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren and a number of other relatives.
