Gene H. Anderson

Gene H. Anderson, 75, of Canton, Georgia passed away Thursday May 3, 2012 at Northside Forsyth Hospital following a period of declining health.

Born December 25, 1936 in Mt. Vernon, Georgia to the late Oscar and Sarah Anderson, he lived most of his life in Vidalia before moving to Canton in 2006. Mr. Anderson was a retired heavy equipment operator and was a U. S. Army veteran of Viet Nam. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Jack Anderson and John Anderson.

Surviving are his children, Gene Paul Anderson, Suches, GA, Christina "Cissy" Moye, Dawsonville, Barbara Carnes, Dawsonville, Rhett Jay, Vidalia, Stan Jay, Vidalia; seven grandchildren, and a number of other relatives.

Mr. Anderson was taken to Vidalia for funeral services and interment.
