James Norman Fitzpatrick

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00p.m. Thursday May 3, 2012 at Faith Baptist Church for Mr. James Norman Fitzpatrick age 70 of Gainesville. The body will lie-in-state from 1:00pm to 2:00pm. The Rev. Richard Cole and Rev. Richard Cole Jr. will officiate.


Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 9:00 Tuesday and Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Fitzpatrick passed away Monday April 30 at his residence following an extended illness.

Mr. Fitzpatrick was born in Athens, Georgia to the late Norman Obediah Fitzpatrick and Lula Mae Parham Fitzpatrick. He had worked as an electrician with MetroPower Company and was a member of Faith Baptist Church .

Survivors include his Wife Geraldine Fitzpatrick, Gainesville, Sons and Daughters-in-law, Lanier and Brenda Fitzpatrick, Gainesville, Dennis and Jeanette Fitzpatrick, Tuscon, AZ, Jonathan and Brandy Fitzpatrick, Lumpkin County, Joshua and Jenny Fitzpatrick, Gainesville, Son, Nathan Fitzpatrick, Gainesville, Daughters and Sons-in-law, Tracy and Robert Surrency, Kathleen, GA, Joanna and Jeff Boger, Gainesville, Sisters and Brothers-in-law, Nancy and Charles Lunsford, Toccoa, Linda and Carl Bond, Ira, GA, 17 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.
