Louise S. Cantrell

Louise S. Cantrell, 85, of Flowery Branch passed away Saturday April 28, 2012 at Peachtree Plantation in Oakwood following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be held Monday April 30, 2012 at 1:00pm at Chicopee Baptist Church with the Rev. Phil Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday April 29, 2012 from 7pm-9pm at the funeral home.
Mrs. Cantrell was born July 17, 1926 in Gainesville to the late Isaac and Mattie Black Strickland. She was retired from the A & P Food Store as an Assistant Manager and was a member of Chicopee Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband Homer Cantrell, son Michael Cantrell, brother Marshal Strickland, brother Bobby Strickland.
She is survived by her daughter Carol Whitlow of Marysville CA, special nephew Danny Strickland of Flowery Branch, granddaughter Laney Whitlow of Fullerton CA, daughter-in-law Barbara Cantrell of Burk VA, brother Jay Will and Virgina Strickland of Clermont, sister-in-law Mildred Murphy of Gainesville, sister-in-law Ouida Strickland of Flowery Branch.
