James Lee Prunty

James Lee Prunty, age 69 of Gainesville, Ga
passed away April 24th 2012 surrounded by his
loving family. He is survived by his wife Gertrude Prunty; Son and daughter in law Brian & Angie Prunty of Braselton, GA; Son Scott Prunty of Young Harris, GA; Daughter Jennifer Morris of Buford, GA; Daughter Debbie Reese of Lilburn, GA: Grandchildren Brandon Prunty , Brandi Pruitt and Samantha Reese.

Jim proudly served his country in the US Navy. He retired as a Senior Regional Manager from Banctec Inc. and spent several years driving a Hall County School Bus for his retirement job. Jim was active in the community as a Volunteer CERT member, and was the coordinator for the Appalachian Jeep Jamboree. Jim was an Avid reader and love being outdoors. He was a devoted Husband, Father and Friend who touched the lives of many.

The Family will receive friends beginning at 11:00AM Friday April 27th followed by a memorial service at 2:00pm in the Ward's Funeral Home Chapel.
