Ronald Franklin Moore

Ronald Franklin Moore, 78, passed away on April 22, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Waycross, Georgia on June 25, 1933 and later moved to Summerville, South Carolina with his family. He earned degrees from Reinhardt University and Mercer University and was employed by Life Insurance Company of Georgia (ING) before retiring in 1992. Mr. Moore was a member of Hebron Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Marlene Moore; two sons and their wives, Thomas Geoffrey (Tom) Moore and Andrea Dobra Moore and William Barrett (Barry) Moore and Christina (Christy) Davidson Moore; grandchildren Kaitlin Rose Moore, Susannah Grace Moore and William Thomas (Will) Moore; close family friends Jim and Joyce Duncan; one brother and his wife Bobby and Paulette Moore.


A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 29, at 2:00 p.m. at Hebron Baptist Church Chapel in Dacula, Georgia with a reception following to visit with the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Reinhardt University in Waleska, Georgia.
