Dorothy "Dot" Holcomb Williams

Mrs. Dorothy "Dot" Holcomb Williams, age 91 of Commerce died Friday, April 20, 2012 at her residence. Mrs. Williams was born in Hull to the late, Albert Edward and Myrtle Bray Holcomb. Mrs. Williams was a member of Erastus Christian Church and retired from Blue Bell. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Thurmond David "Tippy" Williams.

Mrs. Williams is survived by her daughters, Linda Freeman and Sharon Chitwood both of Commerce; grandchildren, Scott and Leslie Williams of Nashville, TN, Jeff and Tracey Chitwood of Commerce, Melanie and Brice Ingram of Danielsville, and Christy and Albert Chandler of Commerce; ten great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Sunday, April 22 at 3:00 PM from Erastus Christian Church with Mr. Steven Parker and Mr. Carl Beckham officiating with the interment following at Jackson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday night from 6-8 PM.
