Bobbye Kinser

Mrs. Bobbye Kinser, age 80, of Dahlonega, GA, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2012, at Gracemont Assisted Living and Memory Care in Cumming, GA.

Mrs. Kinser was born in Vine Grove, KY October 9, 1931. She had lived in Lumpkin County since 1998. Mrs. Kinser was devoted to children and spent 40 years teaching Sunday School at churches that she attended.

Mrs. Kinser was the daughter of the late Kenneth Adkins and Ernestine Smith Adkins and was also preceded in death by brothers, Donald Adkins and Jim Adkins.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Damon Kinser, Dahlonega, GA; daughters and sons in law, Teree and Martin Nethery, Dahlonega, GA, Judy and Tim Powell, Dahlonega, GA, Laurie and Ken Moore Jr., Cumming, GA; sons and daughters in law, Kenneth and Linda Kinser, Jeffersontown, KY, David and Jennifer Kinser, Dahlonega, GA; brothers, Buddy Adkins, Benton, KY and Bill Adkins, Frankfort, KY. 12 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and numerous other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Kinser are scheduled for 7:30 PM Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega.

Rev. McKay Caston will officiate.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega on Tuesday from 5:30 PM until 7:30 PM.
